Guardians report care times in the app, staff see them on the unit's list
The guardian sets the child's weekly routine once and changes single days when needed. Absences can be reported the same morning, and they show on the unit's list.
How it works

- Admin web app

A weekly routine once, exceptions when needed
The guardian sets the child's usual care times for each weekday. A single day can be changed or marked as an absence without redoing the whole routine.
Absences the same morning
When a child falls ill, the guardian marks the absence in the app and picks a reason. No phone call, no text message. The absence shows on the unit's list when it refreshes, and the staffing forecast takes it into account.
Holidays and longer absences
A longer absence can be reported as a date range. It shows on the unit's list for every day in it, so staff can plan shifts around the real number of children.
A notice period that protects shift planning
Each unit decides how many weeks in advance care times can still be changed. Within that window guardians can still report absences but cannot add care, so shift planning stays reliable.
What's included
- A weekly care time routine for each child
- Change or cancel a single day, even on the day itself
- Absence reason: illness, holiday or other
- Holidays and absences as date ranges
- The unit's opening hours limit which times can be booked
- The admin team sees bookings by group and by period
Questions about this feature
Can every guardian use the app?
Yes. A child can have several guardians, and each one sees and edits the same care times with their own account.
What if a child comes in despite a reported absence?
Staff check the child in as usual. The check-in overrides the reported absence and the child is counted in the staff ratio.
