Invoicing and service vouchers

Service voucher invoicing from the municipal report to the guardian's app

Import the municipality's service voucher report and Knuut builds the invoices with your client fees and sibling discounts. Guardians get them in the app.

How it works

Used in these apps
  • Admin web app
  • Knuut Family
01

The municipal report as the starting point

Each month's invoicing starts from the municipality's service voucher report. Knuut matches the rows to children by name and remembers the names you confirm, so the next month matches almost by itself.

02

Your unit's own client fees

On top of the family's own share, you can add a client fee per child and choose a sibling discount: only the youngest child pays, or a tiered discount. An example invoice shows the effect while you set it up.

03

Checked before it is final

Invoices are first created as drafts. You can change an amount with a stated reason or add a line by hand, and every change is logged. Invoices cannot be finalised until every child is matched and has an invoice recipient.

04

The invoice on the guardian's phone

A finalised invoice gets an invoice number, a Finnish reference number and a virtual barcode. The guardian gets a notification and copies the payment details from the app into their bank. For bookkeeping, the invoices export as a CSV file.

Questions about this feature

Which system is the report imported from?

Knuut reads the service voucher report from the eVaka system as a CSV file. Tell us in the demo which system your municipality uses.

Does Knuut send e-invoices?

No. The invoice appears in the guardian's app and can be downloaded as a PDF.

Can each unit invoice under its own business ID?

Yes. Seller details and number series are set per unit, and numbering can continue from your previous software.
